Deep Bite is when the upper front teeth verticaly overlap most of the lower front teeth.  This can lead to severe abrasion of the front teeth, and can also interfere with movements of the jaw.  If the bite is too deep it is dificult to obtain the proper horizontal overlap of the front teeth and usualy the upper front teeth tend to protrude more.
